Whilst indulging in half a pint of Ben & Jerry’s Urban Bourbons, I suddenly realised that it tasted too much like alcohol. I didn’t know this Ben & Jerry’s ice cream flavor contains whiskey! Yes, I was still breastfeeding my 1 year old baby at that point in time, so I froze when I realised the ice cream has whiskey!
Fortunately, it was more than 3 hours before the next pump session so I could pump and still keep the milk.
Mummies, always check the ingredient list whenver you don’t feel right about what you’re eating.
P.S. I doubt the ice cream has a high alcohol content, but hey which breastfeeding won’t be concerned?
